Homecoming is almost here!

The third week of school begins on Monday and with it the start of Homecoming activities! Who's looking forward to the start of an exciting week? I am and it's sure to be a BUSY one for me as well as all of those who will be partaking in all the activities! 

In case you've forgotten the Spirit Week activities, here's a short rundown for you all: 

  • Monday (Sept. 8th): Superheros (Upperclasses) v. Villains (Lowerclasses)
  • Tuesday (Sept. 9th): Twin Day
  • Wednesday (Sept. 10th): Support the Senior girls by wearing black/white or the Junior girls by wearing maroon/orange, then show your support for them at the Powderpuff game later at the game that begins at 6:00 pm up at the stadium. Tickets will be sold at the gate for $5.00 per person and all money raised goes to the Junior and Senior classes as a FUNDRAISER for Homecoming, Prom, Graduation, Senior Honors Banquet and other Junior/Senior related events throughout the school year. Athletic passes are not accepted for this event for it is a fundraiser.
  • Thursday (Sept. 11th): Wear your favorite decade!
  • Friday (Sept. 12th): Spirit Day- wear your best WBHS attire and show your support for the boys at the game against Salem! It's sure to be a GREAT game!
Tickets will continue to be sold during ALL lunches outside of the cafeteria. Buy yours soon! Ticket prices will be raised ONE more time before the end of the week! Tickets are NOT sold at the door and middle school students are not allowed at the event (Sorry! The homecoming dance is an event for high school students and recent graduates.) We've sold near 250 tickets in just six (6) days alone! Are you part of that number? If not... what are you waiting for? 

Ticket sales: 
Monday (Sept. 8th)- Wednesday (Sept. 10th): $25.00 each
Thursday (Sept. 11th)- Friday (Sept. 12th): $30.00 each

**If you are not in the building during the lunch hours, you may pick up a ticket in the main office with Mrs. Carr as well. 

All NON-WBHS students attending the dance MUST have a date form on file before the day of the event. Pick up a form (or print the attached image) in the main office with Mrs. Carr or outside of room 230 with Mrs. Damasco- Farrington. The form must be turned in no later than FRIDAY, Sept. 12th. NO EXCEPTIONS!  

If you are interested in chaperoning the event, please contact me at the email address below and let me know when you would be available. This will help me in making location assignments for all chaperones and I just want to THANK ALL OF YOU for all you do in advance!
